THE Valentine’s Day Dress

Valentine’s Day typically has people running to the store for chocolates and Hallmark cards but I  much prefer to treat myself with something better, fashion (& a white rose, obvi). I sought out to find the perfect “Valentines-y” dress to feature in The SO Edit shop. What does the perfect “Valentines-y” dress look like? In my mind, it’s a romantic, red, and functions well for date nights or girls’ night out, and cocktail parties just the same.

My three “gotta have” features when curating this dress for the edit:

1 – Red Lace.

2 – Low maintenance (meaning it travels light and does not wrinkle).

3 – Costs under $50.

So I was on a mission and mission accomplished! Here is my top pick for a Valentine’s Day inspired dress which met my three requirements. From all the contenders it was my top pick and I’d wear it for several dressy to dressy casual occasions.

Here are some shots of the dress in action. In case you are wondering, I’m 5’3, and the model in the dress listing is 5’10 (sigh..).

Six, (yes only six, two of each size) will be available in The So Edit Shop while supplies last so if you love it, don’t wait!

In case you like to dance in public in 6 inch heels, you’ll be happy to know this dress is good for that too;) Happy Valentine’s Day friends!!!
